We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the site for your personal, non-commercial, informational purposes. You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use it in violation of any applicable law.

The site and its contents — including text, graphics, logos, artwork, film stills, trailers, and the Exit 44 name and marks — are owned by Exit 44 or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Exit 44 receives a large volume of creative material and develops projects internally and with established partners. Any film, script, logline, or other material you submit is considered unsolicited and is not submitted in confidence, and no confidential or fiduciary relationship is created by your submission.

You retain ownership of your work. By submitting, you represent that you own or control all necessary rights, that the material is your original work, and that our review of it will not violate the rights of any third party. You grant Exit 44 the right to review and evaluate the material for potential interest.

We are under no obligation to review, respond to, return, or keep confidential any submission, and we have no liability arising from similarities between submitted material and any project we may independently develop, acquire, or produce.

The site may contain links to, or embed media from, third-party services such as video hosts. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

The site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Exit 44 and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the site or from any submission.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
