Molly C. Quinn and Cameron Cuffe Wrap Psychological Thriller “Peekaboo”

Exit 44 Entertainment has completed production on PEEKABOO, a psychological thriller toplined by Molly C. Quinn (Castle) and Cameron Cuffe (Krypton). Previously known under the working title The Weight, the film marks the feature directorial debut of Sallyanne Massimini, a producer on American Gods, who co-wrote the screenplay with Thomas Care.

Shot on location across Ontario, Canada, the film was produced by Exit 44 Entertainment and Palo Pictures. PEEKABOO follows a woman who wakes chained in a remote cabin and escapes a man spiraling into hedonistic rituals — but as she struggles to survive, reality fractures, revealing a disturbing truth: she's not his victim, and he's not her captor.

Ty Leisher (11th Hour Cleaning), Eric Brodeur (The Haunting of the Mary Celeste), Thomas Care and Molly C. Quinn produced for Exit 44 Entertainment.

“Filming in freezing temperatures at a waterfall, the demanding physicality of Molly's stunts and body burns, and the quick pivot to highly emotionally charged scenes with Cameron — the team handled these daily challenges with the utmost grace, passion and professionalism,” said Massimini.

Quinn's recent credits include Agnes, Doctor Sleep, We're the Millers and the TIFF People's Choice winner The Life of Chuck, which she also executive produced. Cuffe's credits include the miniseries Nautilus, Everything I Know About Love, Time After Time and Stephen Frears' Florence Foster Jenkins. For screener or press inquiries, contact the Exit 44 team.
